Delicious Flavours

Your cake needs to look good but it’s super important that it tastes good too! A wedding cake from The Pantry Door provides both style and exquisite flavour. All of my wedding cakes are made fresh to order, using only the highest quality ingredients producing soft sponges, velvety butter creams and luxurious fondants.

All standard cakes produced by The Pantry Door contain Dairy, Gluten and Eggs, and may contain Nuts, or traces of Nuts. All cakes are suitable for vegetarians. Please see the pdf menu’s below for our Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Vegan options.

A sweet fluffy sponge, infused with Prosecco syrup, layered with a peach preserve and a sweet Prosecco buttercream

Cherry Bakewell (V, G, D, E, N)
Moist almond cake infused with Kirsch syrup, Morello cherry conserve and a smooth vanilla bean buttercream

Traditional Boozy Fruit (V, G, D, E, N)
Packed with Spanish brandy soaked fruit, and matured for 84 days, then wrapped in marzipan

GLUTEN FREE CAKES
The majority of our menu can be offered in a Gluten Free alternative. Please be aware that all cakes are produced in a kitchen that handles gluten on a daily basis, and therefore we cannot guarantee no traces, although all care and attention will be taken with your order to avoid cross contaminations.

DAIRY FREE CAKES
The majority of our menu can be offered in a Dairy Free alternative. Please be aware that all cakes are produced in a kitchen that handles dairy on a daily basis, and therefore we cannot guarantee no traces, although all care and attention will be taken with your order to avoid cross contaminations.
Please note that many design finishes require a firm setting white chocolate ganache to achieve the desired look, which is not possible in our Dairy Free options. For this reason our Dairy Free menu is limited to Buttercream style cakes and Cupcake orders only.

VEGAN AND EGGLESS CAKES
The Pantry Door is not a specialist Vegan Bakery, and therefore we do not have a day to day vegan menu option for celebration cakes. I can offer a small range of vegan cupcakes as an additional purchase for my wedding clients as special catering for vegan wedding guests. Due to the structural requirements for tiered cakes, I cannot offer vegan tiers within your wedding cake. Please be aware that all cakes are produced in a kitchen that handles animal products on a daily basis, and therefore we cannot guarantee no traces, although all care and attention will be taken with your order to avoid cross contaminations.

Prices

There are so many wonderful possibilities for the design and size of your cake and as such prices will always vary. Wedding cake pricing is dependent on two things, the size of the cake, and the amount of hours of work involved in perfecting your design. As an illustration, a mid sized three tier cake to serve 100 guests can range from £275.00 to £495.00 dependant on design, starting from simple semi-naked style cakes, working up to highly finished elaborate designs, with elements such as ruffles, sugar flower cascades and intricate lacework. If you know you would like a Pantry Door wedding cake, but haven’t decided on a particular style, a £50 deposit secures your big day in my diary, regardless of the end design. I will then book a design meeting closer to your wedding date when we can finalise details. This is a popular option for couples planning their wedding 12 to 24 months in advance, and gives peace of mind that their wedding cake will be a Pantry Door cake.

Delivery

All wedding cakes are delivered to the venue and set up personally by The Pantry Door. Delivery is included in all wedding cake prices.

Payment Terms

Wedding cakes - A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is payable 6 weeks prior to your wedding date. Payments can be made by cash in person, or by bank transfer.
